This new customer is a global leader in heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration (HVACR) solutions, providing advanced systems for residential, commercial, and industrial applications. This new three-year partnership with aPriori aims to leverage the Manufacturing Insights Platform to enhance profit margins on its product designs.

Due to industry regulations, this company is required to redesign its product suite every eight years. When assessing its most recent design cycle, the company realized its margins were at their lowest. To rectify this, the company began building a Design Platform Engineering Center of Excellence (COE). It was focused on cost control, design for excellence, margin expansion, and competitive baselining. As the leader in the field of manufacturing cost analysis, aPriori will work with this core group from the onset of the engagement.

From a market opportunity perspective, the company is shifting its focus to better support temperature control of server facilities worldwide. Due to the surge of AI, in part, there is a need to significantly expand server facilities globally. It presents a strategic opportunity for companies like this one to transition from custom, low-volume commercial HVAC installations to higher-volume production in support of the growing market.
