Selecting and editing a routing
Clicking a row in the Routing table selects the routing this row represents. Clicking a node selects the node and the row.
Selected node shows the cost status indicator:
Green — Costing on this node completed successfully.
Yellow — Costing on this node completed with warnings. Typically, indicates that feasibility rules were not evaluated or that there are uncosted GCDs associated with the process.
Red — Costing on this node failed. Click on the red status indicator to see which GCDs failed to cost.
To select and edit a routing
1 In the Manufacturing Process pane Select Edit > Routing Selection or right-click and select Routing Selection. The Routing Selection window is displayed.
2 Select a routing.
4 You can even customize the routing for the component by inserting or reordering processes. This includes creating and inserting Custom Processes. For more information, see Creating custom processes and routings on page 1.
5 Click Ok to apply changes, recalculate the cost, and close the Routing Selection window; or click Apply to apply changes and recalculate the cost without leaving the Routing Selection window.
Once you selected a routing and closed the Routing Selection window, aPriori remembers the costs calculated in the last costing event only. This is sometimes called a pinned routing – this allows you to manually select a preferred routing so that aPriori does not spend time calculating several alternative routings when costing. When you open the Routing Selection window again, only the routings that were costed in the last costing event have values in the Cost column. The uncosted routings are displayed only if the View > Show Routings with Incomplete Cost option is selected.
