aPriori’s STARS Customer Conference kicked off today at Rosen Shingle Creek Conference Center in Orlando, Florida after many months of anticipation. This is the second North American customer conference aPriori has hosted, and attendance increased 150% year over year. 23 different global manufacturers sent representatives to this year’s conference to advance their knowledge of best practices for deploying enterprise product cost management solutions and to network with their peers to discuss the latest strategies for managing and reducing product cost.
After a rousing Welcome Address from Stephanie Feraday, aPriori’s President and CEO, Keynote Speaker Steve Minter, Executive Editor of Industry Week fired up the attendees with a presentation describing a great renaissance taking place in the American manufacturing workplace. Other speakers lined up for today’s agenda include a case study from Whirlpool Corporation (read the recent Press Release announcing a new partnership between aPriori and Whirlpool), and members of aPriori’s Professional Services and Product Management teams who will be running more than 10 different break out sessions aligned to help Engineering, Sourcing and Manufacturing professionals gain better insight into how they can maximize their leverage of aPriori’s state-of-the-art enterprise product cost management technology platform.
