Issues Resolved in aPriori Professional 2019 R2 SP1 F1
An issue with inherited labor rates in overlay VPEs that was introduced in aPriori 2019 R2 has been resolved. Inherited labor rates were incorrect for:
Overlay VPEs created in aPriori 2019 R2 and later
Overlay VPEs for which the Machine Inheritance field was set to Update to Latest in aPriori 2019 R2 and later
If you resolved this issue in aPriori 2019 R2 or 2019 R2 SP1 by manually updating the affected data, do not use the manually modified VPE because it will not inherit labor rates correctly.
Instead, import a previous version of the VPE that does not include the manual modification. The non-modified version of the VPE will inherit labor rates correctly.
An issue with VPEs that had been updated to the latest Regional Data Library has been resolved. Previously, some VPEs would not publish or export after an Update to Latest was performed. To resolve this issue:
1 Import the VPE into aPriori 2019 R2 SP1 F1
2 Perform the necessary Update to Latest actions.
3 Publish the VPE.
An issue introduced in aPriori 2019 R1 SP1 for a Tolerance Policy Editor option has been resolved. Previously, even if the Use current settings as my default tolerance settings option was selected in the Tolerance Policy Editor, your default tolerance settings were not used for new components. That issue has been resolved in aPriori 2019 R2 SP1 F1. Now, if the Use current settings as my default tolerance settings option is selected in the Tolerance Policy Editor, your default tolerance settings are used for new components.
An issue with the Import VPE Data From Excel functionality has been resolved. Previously, an Import VPE error message was generated if you imported VPE data via a spreadsheet that included:
The Surface Treatment > Shot Peen process
The Sheet Metal - Stretch Forming process group
As shown in the figure, the generated message indicated that the import completed, but some of the imported rows contained errors.
The only impacted data was the toolshop material data for Shot Peen and toolshop data for the Sheet Metal – Stretch Forming processes. This issue has been resolved in aPriori 2019 R2 SP1 F1.
To prevent the import error:
1 Export the VPE data from a release after aPriori 2019 R2 SP1.
2 Import the VPE data to the same release or to a different release that is also after aPriori 2019 R2 SP1.
An issue with not being able to recost assemblies has been resolved. Previously an assembly recosting fails if you:
1 Cost the assembly.
2 Manually add a component to the assembly.
3 Delete the scenario for the manually added component from the database.
4 Try to recost the assembly.
This issue been resolved in aPriori 2019 R2 SP1 F1. You can now recost an assembly even after you delete the scenario for a manually added component from the database.
