Reporting Enhancements
In aPriori 2019 R2, the aPriori Access Control model is extended to Cost Insight (CI) Report for Server Platform 19.2. If a user is restricted from viewing a scenario in aPriori Professional and aPriori CI Design applications, the scenario also will not be displayed to that user in CI Report. This access control extension applies both to out-of-the-box reports and the ad-hoc reporting environment.

Two new reports are available in Cost Insight Report to assist customers in analyzing the impact of upgrading to a new version of aPriori. These reports are called the Upgrade Comparison report and the Upgrade Part Comparison report. They identify and summarize key differences in manufacturing and cost estimates for a set of test parts, when cost in the newer version of aPriori compared to the previous (installed) version. Using these reports helps focus customers on key discrepancies so that they may analyze them further and determine if the changes observed can be explained by functional enhancements in aPriori (as documented by the aPriori Release Notes and Cost Impact Guide), or if some characteristics of their parts suggests some configuration of the cost model logic may be desired.
