Known Issues and Workarounds
The following issues were identified during testing of aPriori Professional 2019 R2 SP1. Please also consult the aPriori Professional 2019 R2 Release Notes for a list of Known Issues found in the initial release of aPriori Professional 2019 R2.
When installing aPriori, during the Database Schema Configuration step, the aPriori Professional install wizard generates a Java Database Connectivity (JDBC) error if your MySQL Connector version is J 8.0.17. The installer cannot create the JDBC connection because the server time zone value ‘Central European Standard Time” is unrecognized or represents more than one time zone. If you ignore the error during installation, the installation proceeds, but when you try to launch aPriori Professional, you receive a Java SQL exception error. This connectivity error occurs because your operating system does not include zoneinfo files.
Workaround: First download and import a MySQL zoneinfo file that contains supported time zone, then determine the applicable time zone, and, finally, configure the MySQL to use the applicable, supported time-zone. For more information, see Configure MySQL JBDC Time Zone in the 2019 R2 SP1 aPriori Professional Installation Guide.
