Usability Enhancements
Beginning in aPriori 2019 R2 SP1, users will be notified when they try to include secondary processes for which they are not licensed. This will occur when processes are included either via the Optional Process Overrides panel in the Cost Guide or via the Routing Selection dialog. A message similar to the one shown below will be displayed prior to costing. Once the dialog is dismissed and costing proceeds, no unlicensed processes will be included in the routing or cost estimate, as also was the case in previous releases. The intent of this enhancement is simply to alert the user, as previously they may have overlooked that a requested process was not included.

This service pack provides an improvement to the Scrap Material Credit capability introduced in aPriori 2019 R2 (also known as Scrap Buyback). Now the Formula Dependencies dialog will display the calculated scrap material unit cost, for all processes that support scrap buyback calculations. Previously the dialog displayed only terms which are used to compute the scrap material unit cost: the raw material unit cost and the percentage of that raw material cost at which scrap material can be sold. Now the Formula Dependencies dialog will also display the product of those two terms. This is a usability improvement only; cost results will not be impacted by this change.
