• A new process setup option Anodizing Routing Strategy is available when a part routing includes an Anodizing process. This option allows the user to specify whether the anodizing tank is assumed to be filled to capacity (with either this part number or similar-sized additional part numbers as needed), if the specified batch size is less than the capacity of the anodizing tank. This is the default behavior in the aPriori starting point VPEs, and results in lowering anodizing costs per part as they are amortized over a greater number of parts. Alternatively, users may indicate that only the specified batch size occupies the anodizing tank even if there is extra capacity; in this case anodizing costs are amortized over the specified batch size
