• The aPriori Professional documentation has not yet been updated to reflect the latest changes for Wire Harness and PCBA costing. While much of the existing electronics costing documentation in the aPriori Professional 2019 R1 SP1 doc set remains valid, certain areas are obsolete with this release. Specifically, the Wire Harness and PCBA chapter of the VPE Administration Guide is being rewritten to cover the new web-based data collection service.

• SiliconExpert currently supports only minimum and average costs, not a granular minimum order quantity breakdown.

• The web-based data collection service only supports BOMs with up to 500 line items at this time. If you have a BOM that is larger than that it is recommend that the BOM is split into smaller BOMs that are run through data collection individually – the outputs from data collection can be combined using Excel or other spreadsheet editors to recreate the complete BOM.

• The web-based data collection service is not fully supported in Internet Explorer or Microsoft Edge; various rendering issues may occur when using those browsers.
