The setup wizard displays the aPriori Properties Configuration settings window only in the advanced installation mode. To enable the advanced mode, navigate back to the Select Components window and select the Use advanced installation mode check box.
Selecting the advanced installation mode also allows you to specify Bulk Costing and Analysis Plugin properties later in the installation.
Any properties that appear when this configuration window first opens are properties that the setup wizard obtained from a preloaded initialization (.ini) file or a previous installation. Although you can replace the value of a preset property in the configuration field, the preset value takes precedence over the value that you replace it with if the preset value is already saved to the database.
Properties that you specify are added to the aPriori.properties file in the installation directory.
Specified properties that are not already defined in the database are saved to the database once aPriori Professional is started,
Note: Properties that are saved in the database always take precedence. Therefore, if you are upgrading or re-installing an installation where apriori.initial.scenario.name (for example) is already set equal to “start” and has been saved to the database, specifying a new value on this screen (or in the apriori.properties file) have no effect.
To remove a property, select the adjacent check box and click Remove.

To add a property and specify its value:
1. Click the Add button.
2. Highlight and click the property that you want to add from the menu of customer-definable properties that appears.
3. Specify a value for the property in the field on the right.

For each property that you want to specify, repeat the process. In all, there are 17 properties that you can specify. If you add all 16 properties, the Add button is disabled.
