Memory Configuration
The Memory Configuration settings allow you to specify the maximum amount of machine memory in the run stand-alone file to dedicate to the Java heap space.

The minimum setting is 4 GB. A typical setting is between 4 GB and 8 GB. A default setting of more than 4 GB indicates that, for this installation, you are using a setting from a either a preloaded initialization (.ini) file or a previous installation.
The installer calculates and sets the maximum amount that you can specify as
Where:
Xmxmax is the maximum dedicated heap space, in GB.
XmxTotal is the total available heap space, in GB.
To change the maximum amount of machine memory to devote to the Java heap space, adjust the position of the slider. To adjust the value incrementally by ±0.01 GB, drag the knob to the right or left. To adjust the value by a factor of ±50 GB, first click the Memory Configuration window and then use the arrows on your keyboard to move the knob.
Caution: Assigning too much memory to heap can disable your machineHeap. On the other hand, if Java requires more memory than you specify, a memory error is generated.
