Continue with the update process

1 Install the new version of aPriori on the testing computer system, specifying the updated schemas when prompted.

2 Once you have installed the new version of aPriori, you cannot log in: aPriori displays an "incompatible version" error message.

If your update requires that you upgrade your database, you must perform that procedure. In all cases, you must ensure that any deployment links point to the test system and not to the production system, and then run the aPriori "compatibility" script as explained in the next sections before you can log in again.
