• Source version: This is the version of aPriori which you are currently running in production and from which you wish to upgrade.

• Target version: This is the version of aPriori to which you would like to upgrade.

• Baseline VPE: The starting point, off-the-shelf VPEs provided by aPriori which start with the word ‘aPriori’ followed by a geographic region (e.g. aPriori Eastern Europe, aPriori USA, etc.)

• Regional Data Libraries: Extension to the starting point VPEs that contain targeted costing data for specific geographic areas.

• Costing window: The aPriori window in which users normally work and where they would cost parts.

• Migration computer: This is the computer that you use to perform a migration.
