Editing the Configuration

If the location of your aPriori installation changes, you need to update the plug-in to point to the new location. You can do this by selecting Cost in aPriori > Options from the toolbar of your CAD application. In CATIA this is in the Tools menu.

You can also edit the aPriori installation location by editing the properties file. The location of this file depends on your operating system. For example, for Windows 7, the location is:

<user_home>\AppData\Local\aPriori

where <user_home> is typically C:\users\<username>

This file is named costinapriori<CAD_system_name>.properties. For example, if you are using SolidWorks, it is named costinapriorisolidworks.properties.

Important: Performance is slow if the <user_home> directory is a network drive. Edit the properties file above to specify a temp location on the local hard drive.
