Install by Using the aPriori Professional Setup Wizard

The on-premise installation of aPriori Professional 2019 R2 introduces a new installation Setup Wizard. The new Setup Wizard:

• Automates much more of the installation process than is automated by the wizard for prior releases.

• Displays existing or default values for many configuration settings and allows you to review and modify values during the installation process.

• Allows you to access context-sensitive information for each step in the installation process. To access the information, click Help.

Notes about keyboard behavior

• Using TAB to navigate to a button or a checkbox and then pressing Enter does not always execute the target, even if it is highlighted. The Space Bar sometimes work in this situation.

• To expand/collapse nested items from the keyboard, use the numeric keypad “+” and “-” keys.

• Open the aPriori Professional Setup Wizard

1 Navigate to the directory that you extracted the Wizard from the .zip file to.

2 Double-click the installer executable file, apriori-setup.exe.

3 Depending on your operating system and any installed virus protection, you may receive one or more executable permission requests or warnings. To permit the Setup Wizard to run on your system, click through requests and warnings.

Note: At each stage of the installation setup, the window that appears and the information that it contains both depend on the configuration choices that you make during the setup process.
