Including and Excluding GCD Types

You can specify which GCD types aPriori attempts to recognize for a given process group. This can be helpful, for example, if you know that your organization’s parts never have a certain type of GCD. By excluding that type, you improve the performance of GCD extraction, and potentially prevent cases of erroneous extraction.

Follow these steps to enable or disable GCD types in the current cost model:

1 Select Enable GCD Type(s)... from the File menu.

2 Check a GCD type to enable it. Uncheck a GCD type to disable it.

3 Click OK.
