Introduction to aPriori Spreadsheet Reports
aPriori spreadsheet reports extract data from a scenario (part, assembly or rollup), and present it in an Excel spreadsheet.
You can also generate XML and CSV (comma-separated value) output. aPriori provides a number of predefined reports from the Reports>Spreadsheet Reports menu option. An example of one of those predefined reports, the Component Sourcing Report, can be seen below.
You can also define your own custom reports.
Custom reports are available from the same menu as the system-defined reports.
You typically run these reports from the aPriori User Interface (UI), but you can also run them from the Command Line Interface (CLI). See "Running from the Command Line" on page 1.
Note: aPriori uses an internal "watchpoint" mechanism to generate spreadsheet reports and populate them with variable and attribute values. This is why you will occasionally see this term when using report functionality. However, aPriori watchpoints have no relation to watchpoints that are used in conjunction with some debuggers.
