Running as a Scheduled Task
If you want to run Bulk Costing and Analysis as a Microsoft Windows scheduled task (via the Windows Task Scheduler), then the task must be defined using one of the following options:
Run only when the user is logged on
Run whether user is logged on or not – If you choose this option, you must specify the domain user’s credentials and uncheck the “Do not store password. The task will only have access to local computer resources box.” The Bulk Costing and Analysis task will not run if you check the checkbox.
You can invoke the Bulk Costing module using Windows command scripts to enable “lights out” automated costing of a batch of parts. For example, you may want a workflow that supports automated costing of all parts that meet specific criteria. Contact aPriori Support or Professional Services for more information.
