Investment
The Investment table displays information about the processes, tool types, and tool categories for a part. It provides Current, Previous, and Last Saved information.
The Investment table includes:
Column Heading | Description |

Name | The manufacturing process. |
Tool Name | The general type of tool that is being costed (for example, Blanking Die, Cam-actuated Die, etc.). |
Type Name | The category of tooling the tool falls under. That is, Hard Tooling (Capital Tooling treated as a fixed cost) or Expendable Tooling (treated as a direct variable cost). |
Value | Total capital investment. |
Unit | Currency setting. |
