Ends

The Ends GCD Type includes one or more End GCDs. These GCDs are available for the Bar and Tube process group. The GCD details include:

Cost drivers		Description
GCD	Name	The name and number that identifies the GCD. This information is an identifier only and is not used in any cost calculation.
Properties	Area (mm2)	The area of the GCD.
	Bar Position (mm)	Distance from the bar origin to the GCD location on the bar.
	Is Planar?	True if the GCD consists entirely of planes with convex edges.
	Maximum Cut Angle (deg)	Maximum angle between a plane in the GCD and the plane perpendicular to the stock axis.
	Number of Planes	The count of plane surfaces contained within a GCD.
	Outer Perimeter (mm)	Perimeter measured along the outside of the part.
