Subcomponents

The Subcomponents GCD Type includes a GCD for each subcomponent (that is, parts and/or sub-assemblies) included in an assembly. These GCDs are available for the Assembly process group. The GCD details include:

Cost drivers	Description
Part Number	The component identifier as specified in the CAD model.
Quantity	The number of a subcomponent’s instances in the component.
Weight (kg)	The total finished mass of material in the subcomponent.
Length (mm)	The longest dimension of the subcomponent.
Width (mm)	The widest dimension of the subcomponent.
Height (mm)	The tallest dimension of the subcomponent.
Surface Area (mm2)	The total surface area of the subcomponent.
Volume (mm3)	The total finished volume of material in the subcomponent.
