In releases of aPriori prior to 2015 R1, entering a Cost Override would automatically cause the component to re-cost, even if One Click Costing was enabled. (See
One Click Costing™ (enabling/disabling auto-costing in response to CAD changes) for more information about One Click Costing.) This could be very inefficient if you needed to enter several overrides. In aPriori Release 2015 R1 and later, Cost Overrides entered in the
Part Details,
Assembly Details, and
Roll-up views will not automatically cause a re-cost when One Click Costing is enabled. However, any Cost Overrides entered in the
Cost Summary tab will still cause an immediate recosting, regardless of the One Click Costing setting.
