Reconcile Inputs
The Reconcile Inputs dialog informs you of CAD data changes that could significantly impact the aPriori cost estimate, and lets you determine how to proceed.
This window appears only when:
A scenario already has been costed in aPriori.
The values of one or more CAD properties that are mapped to production inputs subsequently change in the CAD file.
Rather than immediately changing the production inputs with the changed data and re-costing the scenario, the Reconcile Inputs dialog will display that the CAD field value that now disagrees with the previously-used value for that input. For each field that has changed, you can then decide whether to use the updated value from the CAD file or to continue using the previously-specified value.
The Reconcile Inputs dialog also provides some basic validation – it can tell you if you’ve selected an input which is not valid, either by itself or in the context of other selections. For example, in the following screenshot:

The CAD file had been updated to include a material “ZA6” which was not available in the selected VPE. (Or, if the CAD file had contained a VPE name which didn’t exist in your deployment, it also would be flagged as invalid.) This gives you the opportunity to change your selection. If you go ahead and click OK anyway when something is flagged as invalid, aPriori attempts to replace it with a default, or will fail to cost. Specifically, it will use a default Material from user preferences or from the VPE’s default material, and for other fields generally will fail to cost.
