Business Development Representative

We are looking for confident and motivated individuals to join our rapidly expanding sales and marketing team as a Business Development Representative, calling on enterprise level clients. We are looking for experienced Business Development Reps that want to make a change to a proven software leader in the cost management space, and continue to build towards a rewarding sales career.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Proactively generate leads and opportunities through cold calling and prospect follow up
• Makes outbound calls to qualify marketing leads and in support of marketing programs and campaigns (i.e. direct mail and events)
• Identify and track industry trends to identify new business opportunities
• Communicate the value proposition for aPriori products to VP and higher decision makers
• Collaborate with the outside sales team regularly to ensure success and impact bottomline

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES

• 1-2 years business development experience
• Bachelor’s degree required
• Ability to identify, qualify, and prioritize prospects
• Ability to speak with management levels inside and outside the organization
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to juggle multiple tasks simultaneously
• Strong experience with Linkedin
• Experience with Salesforce, or other like CRM.
