With the introduction of stage tooling, aPriori now provides a full suite of mechanistic process models for the high tech manufacturing industry. The key features of the aPriori v5.0 release are:

- Bulk Editing – aPriori has added the ability to edit multiple components from a single screen. This includes the ability to assign a process group, facility, material, routing and machine to a set of selected components.
- Ease of Use – Enhanced cost driver and process views provide more powerful navigation and allow the user to visually explore the relationships between the design, manufacturing process details and the resulting labor, material, overhead and tooling costs.
- Open Licensing – Administration and planning for growth is simplified with more flexible licensing tools and reporting.
